INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY, AND COUPLES THERAPY

My Healing Place offers individual, family, and couples therapy. Our therapists have training specific to trauma, grief, and loss in children and adults. We incorporate play therapy, traditional “talk” therapy, and the expressive arts into sessions. Individual sessions are generally 50 minutes long. We offer a sliding fee structure for our therapy services for those in need.

GROUP THERAPY

In addition to individual therapy sessions, we also offer group therapy. Current group offerings:

• Expressive Arts Therapy Group for Adults (ongoing)
  Saturdays from 10am-12pm, $25 per session
  Accepting new members.
  
  This group is a grief therapy group using various expressive art mediums as a way of expressing the difficult and often intense feelings related to a loss. The group is facilitated by two therapists. Run by Kimberley Mead. Supervised by Khris Ford.
  
• Children of Divorce Therapy Group (forming)
  Mondays from 7:00-8 pm, $25 per session
  
  This will be ongoing therapy group to address the important issues that arise when a child is adjusting to the separation and/or divorce of his/her parents. This group is facilitated by two therapists and will be limited to 8 children. Run by Julie Dickerson. Supervised by Khris Ford.
  
• Adults in Transition Therapy Group (forming)
  Monday evenings from 7:00-8:15 pm, $25 per session*
  
  For adults who are separated or in the process of a divorce. The group will be led by two therapists. This group is awaiting a minimum registration of 6 adults. (*If your child is attending the Divorce Therapy Group that meets concurrent to the adult group there is only one Family fee of $25.)
