The hours flew by so quickly.” Winter Training Series to be Announced Soon The training series generally consists of 4 weeknight evenings from 6-9pm and 2 Saturdays from 9-4pm with all sessions required. Daytime Training Series for Daytime Volunteers This is brand new and is planned to help meet our need for daytime volunteer group facilitators who will serve in our school-based program.

Be a Holder of Hope for My Healing Place |
|
In the midst of grief and trauma people look for signs of HOPE; even glimmers of light to sustain them. That's what My Healing Place is all about - holding the HOPE for children and adults when life seems too hard to hold it for themselves. We invite you to join us in this awesome opportunity to impact the lives of many. Join the Holders of Hope for My Healing Place by making a tax deductible donation of $1,000 or more. Our fall campaign for Holders of Hope will culminate with a gathering to celebrate the “light” created by the generosity of our community. The date will be announced in the near future. Your donations will make it possible for My Healing Place to: ¨ Provide each child in our program with a stuffed teddy bear ¨ Start additional group nights to serve the needs of additional children and adults ¨ “Scholarship” trauma therapy for those who are unable to pay a fee ¨ Put out a quarterly newsletter with helpful information on grief, loss, and trauma ¨ Offer training for school counselors, social workers, and nurses ¨ Purchase much needed art supplies for use in expressive therapies with children and adults ¨ Create a video/DVD of My Healing Place programs for use in orientation for new clients and for training
