Honor a Loved One or Celebrate a Special Event

• Make a donation to My Healing Place in “honor of/celebration of/memory of”
• A wonderful gift that offers hope and healing as you remember and celebrate someone special!
• Make a monthly pledge in celebration of a birthday or anniversary.
• Donate a book in the name of a child or adult.
• Donate a bear for one of the children who come to My Healing Place.
• Sponsor an event in memory of a loved one.
• Underwrite a speaker for a Healing Conversations Conference.

• 5-6 Minute film of My Healing Place work for development purposes and for use in orienting families prior to attending group
• Contract Grant writer
• Quarterly Newsletter (approximately $250/quarter)
• “Healing Conversations Conferences”: Speaker Honorariums ($500/speaker)
• “Healing Conversations Conferences”: Printing of flyer and program ($1000)
• “Healing Conversations Conferences”: Venue Rental ($1200); Coffee/Snacks ($350)
• School-based support group (10 sessions with up to 10 students – $1700)
• Ongoing support group for adults or children (twice monthly for 11 months – $4500)
• Scholarships for grief/trauma therapy for children and adults (for those unable to pay) – $80/session
• Volunteer appreciation event ($500)

Group Supplies Needed:

We can always use:

• Gift cards to Target, Amazon, Michael’s, Hobby Lobby, Sam’s Club or Costco, Office Max/Depot,
• books (Grief, trauma and therapy related)
  We can provide a list or you might consider an amazon or Barnes & Noble Gift certificate.
• New stuffed bears (a minimum size of 14")
  Each child that comes to us receives a bear from My Healing Place.
